DESCRIPTION:13 November 2023\nRoyal Aeronautical Society Headquarters\n \nConference\nThe RAeS General Aviation Group (GAG) Light Aircraft Design Conference has been running for many years. Its objective is to provide a meeting of minds around the fascinating science and technology of Light Aircraft – Light Aircraft in this case covering a whole range of means to fly\, from jet boots and wingsuits\, simple and sophisticated microlight and larger craft through to air taxis\, eVTOL\, and light business aircraft. GAG special interests lie in the application of new concepts\, design and construction\, propulsion systems and electric\, electronic and material developments. \nThe conference  provides a unique opportunity to meet and discuss the latest developments in Light Aircraft technology. Previous conferences have covered the application of new concepts\, design and construction\, propulsion systems\, materials and electronic systems. \nThis year the topics include: an overview of 600kg microlights\, the latest Rotax powerplant developments\, electronic conspicuity\, design examples from the recent  RAeS / Coventry University Teach-Ins\, recreating the Supermarine S5\, the Nuncats electricskyjeep\, the Fafali 1000 and the SkyFly Axe eVTOL  – together with an update on E Conditions and the results of the annual Design Competition.
