Flying Saucer

🛸Not From This World🛸

Was at Sutton Meadows on Saturday doing my biannual flight with Mark where I practiced flying from the back seat and had a chat with 121.5 for a turn-by-turn Practice Pan all the way back to the airfield after simulating a loss of GPS.  Not that we needed to simulate it as I couldn’t see the screen from the back seat anyway.  It’s always good to know those guys at Distress & Diversion are just a push-to-talk away.

After landing I was chatting to a few of the natives that go by the name of Hugh and Brian, it turns out they are planning a trip all the way to the coast, in this case, Cromer but first via The Wash then follow the coast around to our destination under the MATZ and a NOTAM that covered most of the fens from 2000 ft upwards.

Check out the photo of what we saw in the wash which can only be described as a flying saucer 👽.  Trust me, I am a pilot and I know what I am talking about!  The part in the middle is almost certainly where the aliens shoot laser beams from so decided not to fly over that part.

After a few laps, we continued on the journey to Cromer dodging the planes coming in the opposite direction and helicopter that flew under us.  That Pilot Aware gadget is worth every penny for an extra pair of eyes looking out for us.

Until the next time.

Happy Landings,

Jinx
